Partly. Box Drive is offered for Windows and Mac only, with no Linux download, but the Box website works in a Linux browser so you can still reach and upload your files.
Box Drive by Box · Cloud storage & backup · Works in a browser
Box's downloads page offers Box Drive for Mac and for 64 bit Windows. Linux is not listed and there is no
installer, so the drive letter you were used to seeing in File Explorer does not come with you.
The website does most of the job. Sign in at box.com in Firefox or Chrome and you can browse folders,
upload, download, share links and see comments. What you lose is the convenience of files appearing inside
your own file manager, so saving straight from a program into Box becomes download, edit, upload instead.
If this is a work account, ask your IT people before changing anything. Some organisations connect Box to
desktop tools in ways that only work on Windows, and some set sharing rules that behave differently through
the website.
There is no Box file format to worry about. Your documents, spreadsheets and photos are ordinary files and
they download unchanged. If you want them to appear as a folder on Linux again, the practical options are to
keep a working copy in a folder you sync with something else, or to use a different cloud service that does
make a Linux app.
