Yes, through a browser. Figma has no Linux desktop app, but Figma is a website and works in Chrome, Firefox or Edge on Linux. Your files, teams and plan are unchanged because they live in your Figma account.
Figma by Figma · Design, CAD & 3D · Works in a browser
Figma's downloads page offers a desktop app for Mac, Windows and Windows on Arm. There is no Linux one, and Figma
has not announced any plans for it.
That matters less than it sounds. The desktop app is a wrapper around the same thing you get at figma.com, so open
the site in a browser on Linux, sign in, and your projects are all there. Editing, prototyping, comments and
sharing all work the same.
Two things are genuinely worse in the browser. Fonts installed on your own computer are not picked up the way they
are by the desktop app, so a file using a local font will show a substitute unless everyone on the team has it.
Keyboard shortcuts also collide with browser shortcuts now and then.
Nothing happens to your work when you switch machines. Figma files are stored in your account, so there is nothing
to export, move or convert, and a paid plan keeps working.
Free and open source, runs in a browser, and covers screen design and prototyping. The nearest thing in shape to Figma, though smaller and with fewer plugins.
Your files: Imports SVG and exports SVG, PDF and PNG. Figma files do not move across as editable documents.
