Partly. Epic do make Unreal Engine for Linux, but there is no Epic Games Launcher to install it with. You sign in on Epic's Unreal Engine for Linux page, download a large zip and run the editor from the folder.
Unreal Engine by Epic Games · Coding · Has a Linux version
The engine itself is the real thing. Epic's own documentation describes two ways to get it on Linux: download
a prebuilt package from the Unreal Engine for Linux page after signing in to an Epic Games account, or build
it yourself from the source code.
The prebuilt package is the route to take. It arrives as a zip file, you unzip it wherever you want it, and
you start the editor by running a file inside the folder. That last step is a terminal command, and there
is no installer and no launcher entry, so this is not the one-click experience Windows gives you. There are
also no automatic updates, so a new version means downloading the next zip.
Epic name Ubuntu 22.04 and Rocky Linux 8 as the systems they develop and test against, and say the engine
needs Rocky or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 or newer to run.
Your projects move. A project folder opens on Linux the same as on Windows, and your Epic account, engine
licence and marketplace purchases are unchanged.
