Rescuezilla
Close matchFreeSame idea of imaging a whole drive from a bootable stick. Free, but no scheduling and no incremental backups.
Your files: It cannot open Macrium image files. Restore anything you still need while you have Windows.
Verdict: No
No. Macrium Reflect installs on Windows only. Rescuezilla does the same whole-disk imaging from a USB stick, free, and Deja Dup covers the everyday file backups.
Macrium's own requirements put Reflect X on Windows XP SP3 and above, or Windows Server for the server edition. There is no Linux version. It can image partitions holding Linux file systems, but the program itself runs on Windows.
Rescuezilla is the closest match for what Reflect did. It is free, you write it to a USB stick, and starting the computer from that stick gives you a simple window with backup, restore and clone. Because it runs before the system loads it can rescue a machine that will not start, which is exactly the situation Reflect's rescue media existed for. It handles Windows drives too.
What Rescuezilla does not do is sit in the background. Reflect's scheduled images and its incremental backups have no equivalent, so for regular protection you want Deja Dup or Pika Backup running to a second drive, with Rescuezilla for a full picture before a big change.
Your existing backups will not help you on Linux. Reflect image files restore with Reflect, on Windows. If there is anything in an old backup you might want, restore it and copy the files out while you still have a Windows machine to do it on.

For scheduled everyday file backups to a second drive, which is the part Rescuezilla leaves out.
For rolling the system back after a bad update, similar to keeping a recent image as a safety net.
One stubborn program doesn't have to decide the whole question. You can keep Windows on the same PC and restart into it only when you need Macrium Reflect. Everything else you do can move.
