Verdict: No
No. Voicemeeter is Windows-only software and VB-Audio has never made a Linux version. The good news is that Linux already does most of what Voicemeeter was installed to do, without extra software.
VB-Audio lists Voicemeeter for Windows only, from Windows XP through Windows 11 and ARM64. It is donationware, free to use with an invitation to pay after 30 days, and none of that extends to Linux.
Most people install Voicemeeter for one of two reasons. The first is routing: sending game sound to the recording but not to the headset, or keeping music separate from a voice call. On Linux that job belongs to the sound system itself. The volume control in your settings lists every program that is making noise and lets you send each one to a different output, which covers what most people were building a virtual mixer for.
The second reason is cleaning up a microphone. Easy Effects handles that, with a noise gate, compressor and equaliser applied to your microphone before anything else hears it. It is free from the app store.
If you were recording or streaming, OBS Studio has its own audio mixer with per-source volume, filters and monitoring, which removes the need for a separate mixing program entirely. There is no file format to worry about here, since Voicemeeter never saved anything but its own settings.
Free microphone and output processing with a noise gate, compressor and equaliser. Covers the sound-quality half of Voicemeeter.
Its built-in audio mixer handles multiple sources, filters and monitoring, which is why many streamers no longer need a separate mixer.
Not a mixer, but useful for seeing what is actually running and using your sound and system resources while you set things up.
One stubborn program doesn't have to decide the whole question. You can keep Windows on the same PC and restart into it only when you need Voicemeeter. Everything else you do can move.
